Introduction to the Italian Language. Phonetics, oral training, and
conversation. Basic grammar with oral and written exercises. Basic reading
and composition. Introduction to Italian civilization with the aid of
audio-visual techniques. 6 credit hours.
2013. Intermediate
Language
Advanced review of Italian grammar. Intensive practice in reading, conversation,
and composition. First semester. 3 credit hours.
2023. Introduction
to Italian Literature
An outline of Italian literature from its origins to the present day.
The literary movements and their background with a study of some major
representatives. Three hours a week. Second semester. 3 credit hours.
