Research Interests

Research interests include: the history and philosophy of physics, genetic explanations for human behaviour, animal experimentation, the relation between science and religion, political aspects of science.

Most of his publications have been about quantum theories and their interpretation.

Currently revising a book manuscript titled English Air: The Consumption of Oxygen and Mount Everest. Also writing a book called Tender Mercies: Animal Rights, Consciousness and Experimentation.

Recently began making documentary films. Most recent project is a documentary about the current political situations in Nepal and Tibet and how they are connected to the history of mountaineering in the Mount Everest region.
