Limited-Term
Position in Economics
The Department of Economics
invites applications for an entry-level, limited term, nine-month appointment.
The successful candidate will teach three undergraduate level courses
per semester including Introduction to Economics, Intermediate Micro
Theory, Mathematical Economics, and at least one of the following three
courses: Multinational Corporations and International Trade, Taxation
and Government Spending, New Brunswick Economy. A Ph.D. or imminent
completion is required. Applicants are to submit a curriculum vitae,
samples of scholarly work, evidence of teaching effectiveness (teaching
portfolio preferred), and arrange to have three letters of reference
sent directly to Dr. Dev Gupta, Chair, Department of Economics, St.
Thomas University, Fredericton, N.B., E3B 5G3. Closing date: June 27,
2005, or when position is filled. Applicants are responsible for ensuring
that their files, including letters of reference, are complete by this
date.
