2. Eligible employees on limited term appointments of more than one year, or at least two one-year limited term appointments may apply for promotion to Associate Professor (9.011 and 9.012). Eligible employees on limited term appointments may apply for sabbatical leave (10.032)

3. Payable each year to the ceiling of rank for each employee who "in the judgement of the employer is performing his or her duties adequately" (18.026).
