Nan's inkshed

Transcript for the orientationally impaired: "It seems to me that academic genres of 'writing' we often feel it is our job to teach have embedded in them only certain kinds of seeing and knowing and although we can value these ways of knowing it would be limiting to think we were ever teaching the most valuable ways of writing & knowing. While conventional rhetorical literacy is useful, we must never view it as the 'ultimate' display of intelligence."
