Computer Lab Bookings
Procedure for lab bookings
Please ensure the following
when booking the lab for a class:

Please
be aware of whether or not the time slot you are requesting has
been taken. You can do so by going to this url: http://www.stu.ca/it/bookings/lab.html
. This will take you to lab booking schedules, where you can
see which times are available.

Once you have
found a free time slot, please e-mail your request to Kathy
Buffett buffett@stu.ca

Please inform us of your lab
request at least 2 days in advance. Also include your name, the course
number, the day and time you would like to reserve the lab for, and how
long you will need it.

The lab should be booked for no more than
3 hours in a row.

The lab can only be booked with a minimum
of two (2) days advance warning, requesting.

The Faculty member must him/herself ascertain
the requested time slot is not in conflict with a pre-existing time slot.

If an overhead projector is
required. The faculty member must book an overheard projection unit through Dale
Dasset dasset@stu.ca

The faculty member must state whether
any other thing is required, and make arrangements to provide it, or fair
warning in advance to have it provided for.

The faculty member shall come in as much
as 15 minutes earlier than his or her class, to arrange the setup of the
lab (i.e. the projector unit or any other special requirement).
PLEASE NOTE: Failure to comply
with these requirements, may result in a missed opportunity to have the
lab reserved for the requested time slot.
