While You’re in Fredericton...

Students, parents and supporters, while you’re in Fredericton during the month of September, you should make plans to check out these great events happening in our city:

• On Labour Day weekend, the NB Craft Council will be hosting the New Brunswick Fine Crafts Festival in Officer’s Square downtown. Not only will there be crafts, there will be live entertainment, music and of course food. Phone: (506) 450-8989

• From September 6th-11th, visit the Fredericton Exhibition Grounds on Smythe Street and experience the FREX. There will be an agriculture show, midway, commercial exhibitions, rides, harness racing, stage shows and much more! Phone: (506) 458-9819

• From September 15-19th the streets come alive for Atlantic Canada’s largest celebration of jazz, blues and world music: The Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival. Five days and nights of 125 difference performances, involving over 250 musicians, 2 dozen intimate stages, in only five historic downtown blocks. There will be world class, regional and local performers. Maritime hospitality in festival venues like tents, parks, the Playhouse, markets, churches, pubs & bars.
