Retirement Reception

On June 25 the University held a reception for the five full-time faculty and staff members who were leaving St. Thomas.

Frank Cronin, Barb Macaulay, Tony Rhinelander and Tish Thornton retired from the teaching profession, while Sister Jane Galvin left Campus Ministry to rejoin the Faithful Companions of Jesus in Toronto.

Philosophy professor Dr. Cronin had been with St. Thomas since 1966; Ms. Macaulay had been a lecturer of Education at St. Thomas since 1990; Dr. Rhinelander spent 31 years at the University, retiring as Acting Chair of History; Dr. Thornton joined St. Thomas’s English department in 1969; Sister Galvin had worked at St. Thomas since 1996.
