General

There are two competitions each year. Applications made by November 1st will be adjudicated by November 30th and applications made by May 1st will be adjudicated by May 31st.

Competitions

1) General Research Grant   (May and November up to $1,000.00)

'2) The Conference Travel Fund   (May and November up to $700.00)

3) Criteria for Course Release Applications under Article 17.04  (November)

4) Research Laptop Computers  (May and November and other times if available)

Other Support

1) The Professional Development Allowance
See Article 20 of the Collective Agreement between St. Thomas University and the Faculty Association of the University of St. Thomas.

2) Wallace and Margaret McCain Faculty Research Award
Awarded in the spring of each year (course release). One award may be granted annually and is administered through the office of the VP Academic.

3)The Learning and Teaching Development (LTD) Committee awards LTD grants
