FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
- CIHR –
Institute of Population and Public Heath (IPPH) – Request for
Applications in the area of population and public health research
methods and tools. The goal of this initiative is to fund pilot projects
that will further the development of qualitative and/or quantitative
research methods and tools of relevance to the PPH research community
in the context of the Institute’s strategic research priorities.
Each project will receive a one-year grant of up to 100K. Registrations
are due May 1, 2005 and full applications are due on June 1, 2005.

for Papers: “Qualitative Research and Women: Process and Content”
– 2005 Institute of the Section on Women and Psychology (SWAP)
of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA)
- Wednesday, June 8, 2005, Montreal, Quebec. This Institute is being
held to increase people’s understanding of and ability to conduct
and evaluate qualitative research methods and findings as they pertain
to women. Anyone may submit a proposal regardless of membership in
SWAP or CPA and submissions are welcome from people in disciplines
other than psychology.
Proposals must be received via e-mal by Friday, February 25, 2005
