Contest Rules 2020-2021

The contest starts October 26, 2020 and concludes May 31, 2021 at 12 midnight. The contest will be promoted online at STU.ca and through social media and various forms of communications. A random draw will be held on June 1, 2021 from all entries received on or before the contest closing date.
The prizes have an approximate retail value of $3,000.
Prospective undergraduate students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents (excluding the Province of Québec) may enter the contest; however, there is a limit of one online entry per prospective student.
Entrants must complete the online entry form by providing name, address, e-mail address, grade, and high school; confirm compliance with the contest rules and regulations and submit the entry online. No purchase is necessary.
Members of immediate families (parents, children, siblings, and spouse) or households of STU employees are not eligible to win.
In the event of a dispute regarding submission of an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized holder of the e-mail account, i.e., the individual who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the e-mail address.
All entries become the property of STU. Entries generated by a script, macro, or other automated means are void. Entries that contain typographical errors, are altered, tampered with, incomplete, inaccurate, irregular in any way, or otherwise not in compliance with the contest rules and regulations, are also void. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
By entering, participants agree to be bound by the contest rules and regulations and the decisions of organization. The prize must be accepted as awarded.
STU reserves the right to cancel or modify this contest if, in its sole discretion, it determines that for any reason this contest is not capable of running as originally planned or if fraud or any other occurrence compromises the fairness or integrity of this contest.
By entering this contest, entrants agree to release and indemnify and hold harmless STU from any claim, loss, expense or other liability in connection with the contest, including, without limitation, any damages resulting from the receipt, ownership or use or misuse of a prize. STU shall not be liable to the winner for any guarantee, warranty, condition or representation, express or implied, relating to the prize, including, without limitation, its quality, condition or fitness for a particular purpose.
By entering this contest, entrants’ consent to the use of their name, high school if applicable, and photograph likeness in any publicity related to this contest.
