Dr. Rodrigo Serrat will deliver the Leroy Creamer Memorial Lecture in Gerontology titled "Doing Well by Doing Good: The Contribution of Civic Participation to Active and Successful Aging," Monday, February 11, at 4:00 pm in the Kinsella Auditorium.

Dr. Serrat is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Cognition, Development, and Educational Psychology of the University of Barcelona, Spain. His research focuses on civic participation in later life, with particular focus on issues of inclusion and diversity. He has published extensively on these topics.

There will be an informal reception following the lecture.
