Dr. Levick received her master’s degree from the University of Oxford (2011) and her PhD from Queen’s University (2017), before conducting further postdoctoral research at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
Her interdisciplinary research examines democratic institutions from a range of perspectives, with a particular focus on their measurement, reform, and effects on decision-making. What are the “rules of the game” in democratic societies? Where do they come from? How do they change? And how do they condition the behaviour of elites?
Levick has previously taught at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
