Working from STU-owned Devices
Connect to STU’s VPN (Virtual Private Network) using your STU username and password. If you need to have the VPN installed, contact the ITS helpdesk at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive admin rights.
Working from Personal Devices
You will need to set up the VPN (Virtual Private Network) for added security and to gain access to secure services like access to your F-Drive.

If you plan to move files from your F-Drive to a cloud location, please email the Helpdesk for assistance at email@example.com
There are no special steps required to access Moodle or WebAdvisor remotely.
Office 365—Access to Files, Teams, etc.
The Office 365 suite will allow you to access your files on OneDrive and use the Teams function without connecting through the VPN (Virtual Private Network). Login to Office 365 using your email and password. If you have issues logging in, instructions can be found at https://its.stu.ca/office-365/

If you receive a response from Track-IT notifying you that a ticket has been created, you can reply to that email if you require additional information or have follow-up questions.

ITS is now using a new tool called TeamViewer to support students, staff and faculty remotely. ITS Technicians may ask you to allow them temporary access to your device using TeamViewer. This can only be done with your permission and all access is lost once the TeamViewer session is terminated.
