The Ekpahak powwow committee is pleased to announce that the University of New Brunswick will be hosting the 8th Annual Ekpahak Orientation Powwow on Friday, September 7th from 2:00pm to 6:00 pm at the SUB Quad on UNB campus. All students, staff, faculty, local schools, and the general public are more than welcome to attend this free event.
The year marks the 8th time that STU, UNB, NBCC, and NBCCD have worked together to put on an orientation powwow that brings together students from all four post-secondary institutions to celebrate, share, and learn about Indigenous culture and traditions through drumming, chanting, dancing, crafts, and more. It also aims to create a sense of community on campus and provides an opportunity for students to meet others who are also embarking on the same educational journey as them. Itβs a perfect way to start the academic year!
