Helping a Peer in Distress training prepares you to support a peer who may be struggling with their mental health. This training guides you through the four stages of helping a peer in distress – recognize, respond, refer, and reflect. There will also be an opportunity for discussion and questions. Coffee, tea, and baked goods will be provided.
Helping a Peer in Distress training will be offered on Wednesday, October 4th from 1:30-2:20pm in GMH 205.
Pre-registration is not required. Each training session has a maximum capacity of 30 participants and is first come first served.
