Part-Time Positions in Journalism
St. Thomas University invites applications for instructors to teach the following courses in Fredericton:
Semester 1: (September to December 2021)
JOUR 3143 Documentary (W 6:30pm-9:20pm)
This course introduces students to the art of documentary in various media. The course will explore the history of documentary and the resurgence of the art form in the digital age. Students will produce a short documentary as part of the course work.
JOUR 3173 Interviewing (T TH 5:30pm-6:20pm)
This course explores the art of the interview and the art of inquiry, allowing students to understand how to effectively ask and answer questions.
St. Thomas University is an undergraduate liberal arts institution with a full-time enrolment of approximately 1,900. Its students graduate with Bachelor of Arts, Applied Arts, Education, and Social Work degrees. The faculty members are distinguished teachers, researchers and scholars, and the university holds three Canada Research Chairs.
A PhD, or imminent completion is preferred; a Master’s degree is required.
