Biography
Dr. Daniel Meister completed his graduate studies at Queen’s University, where he was awarded a Joseph Armand Bombardier CGS Doctoral Fellowship, an Ontario Graduate Scholarship, and a Graduate Student Scholarship from the International Council for Canadian Studies. He then held a Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of New Brunswick, where he also completed a Diploma in University Teaching. He has formerly taught courses in History and Liberal Studies at Queen’s and courses in Political Science at UNB. In addition to his appointment at STU, he is also employed as an Archivist in the Private Sector Records unit of the Provincial Archives of New Brunswick. An active member of the archival community, he currently serves as Secretary-Treasurer of the National Archival Appraisal Board.
