Santiago Mora is a Professor at St. Thomas University’s Department of Anthropology. He has done extensive research in the South American tropical savannas and in North West Amazonia. His research deals with past and present subsistence systems, adaptation and cultural change in both hunter-gatherer and agriculturalist societies.
