Research

Dr. Wisniewski’s research has appeared in a range of international and Canadian journals including Public Understanding of Science, American Behavioral Scientist, Canadian Social Work, and the Canadian Journal of Nonprofit and Social Economy Research.  Her most recent academic paper, coauthored with Dr. Vincent Raynauld and Dr. Jamie Gilles, to be published in the American Behavioral Scientist, looks at public health communication challenges leading up to the Freedom Convoy protests.

Dr. Wisniewski has also contributed to a number of research reports and policy briefs, both as a student researcher and through her work with the Muriel McQueen Fergusson Centre. For example, this fall she will take part of a webinar panel discussion on the topic ‘Fleeing Family Violence: Challenges for Survivors Living in Rural, Remote and First Nations Communities.’
