The School of Education Program welcomes all incoming teacher candidates to the B.Ed. Orientation Days on Wednesday, August 27, and Thursday, August 28, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, in the Kinsella Auditorium, McCain Hall.
These annual Orientation Days are designed to introduce 2025-2026 teacher candidates to the B.Ed. program, provide essential information about program expectations, and support services, and help build connections with peers and faculty.

Artificial Intelligence in Education, led by Hoss Zaouali
As part of this year’s Orientation Days, we are hosting a federally funded, national workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Education, led by Hoss Zaouali, founder of Voilà / ConnectED Labs and a recognized leader in educational technology. The workshop will explore:
- How teachers can use AI effectively
- Strategies to save time and boost productivity
- Supporting students, teachers, and families in underserved communities
