Book Launch — Waves of Change by STUdent Adiza Abdul-Rafiu Mohammed

Waves of Change is a new children’s book that introduces young readers to ocean conservation and climate awareness through storytelling and simple, age-appropriate activities.

Written by STU student Adiza Abdul-Rafiu Mohammed (Sustainability And Environmental Studies), the book aims to inspire children to care for the planet and understand how their actions can protect the ocean. The launch event will include a book reading, interactive activities for kids aged 6–12, and community engagement opportunities.

Adiza was selected and funded by Ocean Wise to write Waves of Change as part of their youth ocean program initiative. This support played a key role in developing the book.
