Fostering Anti-Racism University Student Experiences: What's Next?

Brought to you by St. Thomas University Students' Union and hosted by Future Ancestors Services, this roundtable event seeks to explore opportunities to foster anti-racist relationships and spaces for students at St. Thomas University.


We hope that when you leave this shared space, you'll leave with:

  • A deepend understanding of anti-racism and what it can look like in a university setting.
  • A developed awareness of opportunities to advance anti-racism at St. Thomas University to improve student experience.

Agenda

  • Roundtable Host, Larissa Crawford, will open with a 30-minute presentation on anti-racism and her experiences as a university student.
  • Larissa will open a moderated roundtable discussion with Roundtable Members Dorcas Tshimenga, Sarah Kohut, and Brock Richardson that will explore the anti-racist opportunities unique to the university.
  • The roundtable discussion will create space for your questions before we close the session.
