Moose Hide Campaign Day

May 12, 2022

On May 12, 2022 join Indigenous and non-Indigenous Canadians from across Canada to support reconciliation and help end violence against all women and children.

Moose Hide Campaign Day is a gathering for conversation and collective action on the growing levels of domestic and gender-based violence.  This live-streamed event will include traditional ceremonies, inspirational messages from guest speakers, and online interactive workshops.

Violence towards women cuts across all sectors of our society, with recent well-publicized incidents sadly reminding us that it remains prevalent on many post-secondary campuses. Sexual assault on school, college, and university campuses is one of the most often reported types of violence, with nearly half of all sexual assaults committed against women aged 15 to 24.

Join the Moose Hide Campaign Development Society along with post-secondary institutions from across Canada, as we come together online for a day of inspiration, ceremony, and fasting.

Register now to participate! It’s free and you’ll receive the latest updates, early access to the event site and workshops.
