STU Leads Leadership Conference

STU Leads Leadership Conference

“There is no hope,” “irreversible damage has been done to our planet,” “is there really something that I can do to help?,” “if so, what?” These might be questions that have increasingly come to your mind in the last couple of years. In the contemporary context we are living in, our leaders have failed to properly address the environmental crisis that we are facing, and the need for sustainable practices is urgent.

This year, through STU Leads, we want to nurture the leader in you by incorporating a sustainable standpoint that will allow you to thrive responsibly and actively engage in environmental consciousness. By the end of the day, we will show you that it is possible to be successful and instill leadership in your life whilst being sustainable.

STU Leads is an energy-packed, one-day event that aims to provide you, an established leader or a leader in the making, with an opportunity to learn about various leadership topics and styles while also developing tangible skills. Through inspiring keynotes, interactive workshops, and skills-based training from some of the top leadership talent in our community, you will go home with motivation and a drive to be a game-changer in your community.

STU Leads will run on Saturday, February 8th from 10:00am-4:30pm on STU's campus. A detailed agenda will be sent to all registrants.

The cost to attend is $5, which can be paid in person in GMH 302, or the day of the event. All proceeds from this event will be donated to a Fredericton-based non-profit organization working towards conservation or sustainability in our community.
