St. Thomas University International Students Association (STUISA) is recruiting volunteers for the International Student Buddies program!

The program aims to connect new students with returning international and domestic students. Your role would be to build a friendly relationship and provide support and advice based on your own experiences when you first came to Canada. By helping them transition smoothly into life in Canada, we hope to make them feel at home.

As a buddy, you'll be responsible for reaching out to your assigned student buddy through various channels like email, Facebook, or Instagram. Your goal will be to introduce yourself, offer support, and answer any questions they may have during the summer months and throughout the new school year until they settle into life at STU.

We appreciate your interest in becoming a buddy and positively impacting the lives of new international students. The deadline to submit your volunteer application is Sunday, June 10th, 2023 and open to UPPER-YEAR students. If you have any questions, please email stuisa@stu.ca.
