Super Saturday Social - STU Cares March Break

Participate in the Super Saturday Social with The Saint John Newcomers Centre, as an extension of STU Cares on Friday, February 28 and Saturday February 29.

Develop your cultural competencies and increase your understanding of the newcomer experience through this fulfilling experience at the Newcomers Centre in Saint John, NB during the first weekend of March Break!

In partnership with New Brunswick's Experiential Learning Initiative, this event supports STU's spirit of service where students will go out to learn about the work of the SJ Newcomers Centre and do hands-on work to understand and promote multiculturalism.

Learn about the social, cultural, and economic issues in the community by partaking in activities with newcomers at their Super Saturday Social. Students will travel with the Office of Experiential and Community Based Learning to Saint John on Friday afternoon, and return to Fredericton on Saturday.

There is no cost to participating. Accommodations for the night, meals, and transportation will all be covered through the Office of Experiential & Community Based Learning at STU.
