A highly regarded mentor to many students, Dr. Kim Fenwick’s academic expertise is in developmental psychology, psychology of teaching and second-language learning. She has demonstrated exceptional classroom instruction, research, scholarship and community service.

Dr. Fenwick is known for her ability to stimulate curiosity and a desire to learn among her students. She uses a variety of methods to encourage discussions in her classes including breaking students into small groups, role playing, and presentations and she encourages students to explore and express their thoughts.

Outside of the classroom, her ‘open-door’ policy leaves students feeling comfortable in a welcoming learning environment as she strives to be approachable and helpful to students while involving them in the learning process.
