* Coursework in History and Geography is required for a major or minor in Social Studies

** Coursework in Biology, Chemistry and Physics is required for a major or minor in General Sciences.

*** Coursework in Anthropology, Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology is required for a major or minor in Social Sciences.

An endorsement in Elementary Education must include coursework in Mathematics, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, Physical Education, Health, Music and Art. If an applicant does not have a minor of at least 18 credit hours, the major must be at least 30 credit hours. If an applicant has a minor of at least 18 credit hours, the major needs to be at least 24 credit hours.
