Join An Cumann Gaelach, the STU Irish Society at Irish Trivia Night (“Quiz Me, I’m Irish!”) at the Cellar Pub. Come and test your knowledge on all things general and all things Irish.

This event is part of Irish Week, which will take place from March 11-17 and include various events and activities that promote Irish language and culture.

FULL SCHEDULE

Monday, March 11
12 PM: Flag Raising with the Irish Canadian Cultural Association of New Brunswick (ICCANB) at City Hall.
7 PM:  Irish Trivia Night (“Quiz Me, I’m Irish!”) at the Cellar Pub.
All day: Information Table in JDH.

Tuesday, March 12
7 PM: Pop-Up Gaeltacht; a conversation circle for students to practice their Irish language skills in the Dawn Russell Student Lounge

Thursday, March 14
12 PM: Céilí Dancing in the Ted Daigle Auditorium.
All day: Wear Green event, encouraging students to dress up in their flashiest St. Patrick’s Day outfits.

Saturday, March 16
12:45 PM: A screening of the rugby match between Scotland and Ireland at O’Hickey’s Pub.

Sunday, March 17
9 AM: A flag raising with the ICCANB at the Legislature.
TBC: A surprise event! We are encouraging students to keep an eye on our social media!
