Join An Cumann Gaelach, the STU Irish Society at the Pop-Up Gaeltacht, a conversation circle for students to practice their Irish language skills.

This event is part of Irish Week, which will take place from March 11-17 and include various events and activities that promote Irish language and culture.

FULL SCHEDULE

Monday, March 11
12 PM: Flag Raising with the Irish Canadian Cultural Association of New Brunswick (ICCANB) at City Hall.
7 PM:  Irish Trivia Night (“Quiz Me, I’m Irish!”) at the Cellar Pub.
All day: Information Table in JDH.

Tuesday, March 12
7 PM: Pop-Up Gaeltacht; a conversation circle for students to practice their Irish language skills in the Dawn Russell Student Lounge

Thursday, March 14
12 PM: Céilí Dancing in the Ted Daigle Auditorium.
All day: Wear Green event, encouraging students to dress up in their flashiest St. Patrick’s Day outfits.

Saturday, March 16
12:45 PM: A screening of the rugby match between Scotland and Ireland at O’Hickey’s Pub.

Sunday, March 17
9 AM: A flag raising with the ICCANB at the Legislature.
