Biography

Erin Fredericks has been at St. Thomas University since 2013. Prior to that, she was a doctoral candidate at Dalhousie University where she also taught part-time and worked as a research project manager. She is originally from Kentville, Nova Scotia where she lived until she came to St. Thomas University as an undergraduate in 2002. As a STU alumna of the sociology program, she is happy to be back as a faculty member. She lives in Fredericton with her partner, Kelly and their furry friends. She enjoys volunteering with local LGBTQ organizations, visiting the Farmer’s Market and cooking with fabulous local ingredients, and enjoying the many outdoor activities Fredericton has to offer.
