Degree Audit

Degree audits help students work through the requirements for their program (BA, BAA), as well as their majors/minors to ensure that they will complete everything that is needed for their degree prior to graduation. They should be completed and submitted before starting your final academic year so that you are still able to adjust your class schedule if you are still missing requirements.

To complete your degree audit, download the form so you can save your information into it. Use your transcript to get a list of your courses and complete your form with your course information. You will be asked to specify which courses are covering specific graduation, major and minor requirements for you. Then, email your completed form as an attachment to advising@stu.ca. You will be contacted if there are any issues.

If you are unsure of a certain section on the form or think you might be missing something, just complete the form to the best of your ability. We will assist you once we have a chance to review your form and will inform you if there are any requirements you have not yet completed. We have included a completed sample form.

Please note, If you make changes to your class schedule after you submit your degree audit, it may no longer be valid.

*Note for Honours students: Your honours supervisor will need to verify you have the correct courses to meet honours degree requirements upon their completion. You can either have them sign your audit on the designated spot, or you can email your completed degree audit to your supervisor for review, and request that they email their approval to advising@stu.ca. A short note verifying the courses meet honours requirements is all that is needed. You will still need to send your completed degree audit to us to review your other graduation requirement.
